Like bug 350850, but for KDE 4.6.3. The patch from that bug is still needed; upstream didn't fix it.

For those who are currently left with a half-broken KDE due to this, to fix the issue, you can do this:

$ mkdirhier /etc/portage/patches/kde-base/plasma-workspace
$ cp /usr/portage/kde-base/plasma-workspace/files/plasma-workspace-4.6.2-optional_akonadi-server.patch /etc/portage/patches/kde-base/plasma-workspace

and then "emerge -uDN world" again (or "emerge --resume" if didn't try to emerge something else in-between.)
