This is no longer true because the dlj-1.1 is in the EULA group that is not accepted by default in Portage. This results in:

18:12 < SBeans> and im having greif (all from my own lack of knowledge im sure)
18:12 < SBeans> portage is masking the jre and jdk becasue of licencing
18:13 < SBeans> and i cant work out how to accept the licenece
18:13 < SBeans> ive tried adding it to the make.conf
18:13 < SBeans> no luck
