A look in the ebuild show, that the expected size is 2050634. And on the Website (http://www.systemc.org/downloads/standards/) this size is also present. But the downloaded file is 8273920 and so the install is not possible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. download from systemc.org
2. put it to distfiles
3. emerge -va systemc

I just rechecked the file size by downloading the file (just followed the link with the mentioned size) and log in. The size is the same as in my /usr/portage/distfile - 2050634 - which was used to prepare the ebuild.

Please recheck your download.

Check also that you can unpack the downloaded file by 'tar tzf systemc-2.2.0.tgz'.

Hi,

I checked the download again from two locations with the same result:

marc@netbook ~/Downloads/systemc $ ls -l
total 8092
-rw-r--r-- 1 marc marc 8273920 May 7 12:23 systemc-2.2.0.tgz

As attachment I put the content of the downloaded archive. Please trust me, I have clicked on the right file in download section ...

Thanks for your anwser and help,

Marc

Very weird.
Tried also from a second system and location and got

tb@test ~/Downloads $ ls -l systemc-2.2.0.tgz
-rw-r--r-- 1 tb users 2050634 May 9 09:26 systemc-2.2.0.tgz

I compared both contents and they seem to be the same.

Btw, it was not about not trusting you, but occams razor calls to 'make sure' we do speak about the same thing :-).

So maybe we need a third party to check that out.

Yes, its very weird. I now retried it with the help of a proxy server which are located in the states. From there I can get the correct file. But not from a german location. So, I can say, that it works for me now, but perhaps not for other persons from germany. Thanks again for your efforts.

ls -l
-rw-r--r-- 1 flu flu 8273920 1. Jun 19:26 /usr/portage/distfiles/systemc-2.2.0.tgz
