Bug 366069 – revdep-rebuild ignores forward dependency skip

I'm using GNU IceCat browser.
During last upgrade the latest stable xulrunner (1.9.2.17) was skipped because of stable www-client/icecat is still 3.6.16.
revdep-rebuild (app-portage/gentoolkit-0.2.4.6.1-r1) find the icecat package broken. and started rebuilt of net-libs/xulrunner. But it installed the latest stable version (which conflicts with installed GNU IceCat browser).

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Take a portage tree on 03 May 2011 (x86 keyword with installed GNU IceCat 3.6.16 browser);
2. Update system (seeing skipping xulrunner update);
3. After upgrade discover, that icacat was broken:
4. Try to repair it.
Actual Results:  
Discover, that revdep-rebuild installs the latest (incimpatible with installed browser) version of xulrunner.

Expected Results:  
revdep-rebuild should rebuild compatible with installed browser version of xulrunner.

As a temporal solution I've masked xulrunner-1.9.2.17 and rebuilt xulrunner-1.9.2.16.

revdep-rebuild simply runs emerge to resolve dependencies, so after you broke your branch of the tree by unmasking net-libs/xulrunner, there was nothing revdep-rebuild could do about it. Maybe revdep-rebuild can be taught to detect this kind of warning, though.

If revdep-rebuild specifies the emerge --complete-graph option, then it will probably be handled correctly.
