Please don't add developers to CC when you cannot assign bugs. It's extremely bad manners not to mention you caused flurry of 4 emails into my inbox when one would be enough.

I commited the patch for the multilib strictness.

I don't know what to do about the eautoreconf warning tho. As the eautoreconf is properly ran.

Check that there aren't any sed happening _after_ the eautoreconf.

The maintainer mode issue should be fixed (see bug 450448). I think this can be closed.
