I stumbled upon pgsnmpd when trying to figure out management statistics. Hopefully getting them out of the box, opposed to installing scripts and remote access for cacti and likes.

Is there a possibility to get this as useflag? Because it needs to be compiled at the same time as PostgreSQL is compiled itself.

Perhaps. But does it build against 9.0?

It doesn't actually require postgresql-server, instead it only needs dev-db/postgresql-base.
