In relation to bug #365645 I would like to request: - a bugzilla account <artwork@g.o> so we can assign bugs to it - updatig of the default assignee of product "Website www.gentoo.org" component "Graphics" from <docs-team@g.o> to <artwork@g.o>. - write access to xml/htdocs/main/en for myself. This will resolve the need for proxying by antarus or quantumsummers and reduce delays. Thanks in advance.

What do you need access to all of /main/en/ for? I'd think just graphics.xml is what you'd need, plus access to the graphics repository in gentoo/xml/images/ to add new images as needed. I'd prefer that only infra and certain GDP and PR folks have access to all of /main/, since it has GuideXML stuff that's much more sensitive than the typical /proj/ pages in terms of potential breakage.

However, darkside has clarified "[I]nfra can't grant access on a per-file level" on a bug that you were involved with before: https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=347323#c1 > plus access to the graphics repository in gentoo/xml/images/ > to add new images as needed. I have write access to at least subfolders of that place already. > I'd prefer that only infra and certain GDP and PR folks have access to all of > /main/, since it has GuideXML stuff that's much more sensitive than the typical > /proj/ pages in terms of potential breakage. I am testing patches with Gorg locally before committing. What else can I apply besides that and common sense? Write access would make things more smooth and I don't really see why it would hurt to give permissions to me. I'm sure that I can collect a few votes for giving me permissions at that place. Is that really needed?

Its all cvsweb and cvsimages for now. > > I'd prefer that only infra and certain GDP and PR folks have access to all of > /main/, since it has GuideXML stuff that's much more sensitive than the typical > /proj/ pages in terms of potential breakage. If he breaks the site we will nail his balls to the floor. I don't think he will break it any more than me though. -A

Seems like there is a quorum then. Done: flycatcher ~ # groups sping cvs cvsweb cvsimages svn users I'll pass this on to bugzilla@ for: > - a bugzilla account <artwork@g.o> so we can assign bugs to it > > - updatig of the default assignee of > product "Website www.gentoo.org" component "Graphics" > from <docs-team@g.o> to <artwork@g.o>.
(In reply to comment #6) > flycatcher ~ # groups sping > cvs cvsweb cvsimages svn users Confirmed working. Thanks!
