The libreoffice build (both 3.3.1 and 3.3.2) doesn't install all the files built during compilation. Instead of all files going into $SOME_PATH/image/ directory, some files get put in $SOME_PATH/image/$SOME_PATH/... directory. Apparently, somewhere the absolute reference to image directory becomes a relative reference by perhaps a "./" suffix in front, but I can't find where. This breaks compilation with "java" use flag also. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge libreoffice 2. libreoffice Actual Results: error at line 3: /usr/lib64/libreoffice/program/soffice: "No such file or directory". Expected Results: The application should start. I was able to fix it by using the ebuild command directly with separate fetch,unpack,compile,install,merge steps (and with "-java"). After the "install" step, I saved the files in $SOME_PATH/image/$SOME_PATH to a different location and after the "merge" step, I copied the saved files by hand to the file-system (after stripping out $SOME_PATH).
