I've just updated vte, and now, when i run gnome-terminal i got this error: Failed to load terminal capabilities from '/etc/termcap'. Also 'Enter' key doesn't work.

This appears to happen because the termcap path changed. The solution is to stop all your terminal applications that use vte, and restart them. With gnome-terminal it's not enough to just start a new one because that will attach to the already running process.

killall gnome-terminal and restart a new instance of the application.
Older upgrades did this as well, not a bug.

I hunted this down to make sure I wasn't reporting the same issue over again because I just experienced it as well. I would recommend including a notice for users post-install since restarting *all* gnome-terminal processes probably isn't apparent to a lot of people.
