This is an ebuild for the new gtkglext OpenGL widget library for Gtk+2.0. It's a lot nicer than the good old gtkglarea since you can make *any* widget OpenGL capable. I suggest x11-libs as that's where gtkglarea lives. Suggestions on how to improve this ebuild are of course welcome. Thanks, Scott

what version is this? it doesn't pass lintool either, I can fix that, but you should be aware. $ lintool --show-separate --show-details gtkglext-0.1.ebuild ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status for download/gtkglext-0.1.ebuild * Testing for illegal space characters, weird backslash formatting : passed * Testing for malformed headers : passed - (W) Has illegal or suspect headers: |Suspect path in header: # /space/gentoo/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/skel.ebuild,v 1.8 2 002/05/30 01:54:49 sandymac Exp * Testing for occurence of deprecated try : passed * Testing for superfluous A=${P}.tar.gz : passed * Testing for empty DEPEND : passed * Testing for empty HOMEPAGE : passed * Testing for empty DESCRIPTION : passed * Testing for presence of env vars : failed - (E) Missing RDEPEND= - (W) Missing SLOT= - (W) Missing S= * Testing for sane USE flag usage : passed
Hey, the version should be gtkglext-0.1.1 Probably my mistake - sorry about that - will be more careful in future. Scott
Actually, my file is gtkglext-0.1.1.ebuild How did it get to be 0.1.ebuild? Anyway, didn't know about lintool (maybe should go int the docs?) Also, wasn't clear to me that RDEPEND is required (as far as lintool goes) Scott
i named it so because our version of bugzilla mangles filenames. thats why youre supposed to set the filename as description :)
and the reason I pasted the lintool breakage was so youd know it for the next time. will look at this tonight if i get time. gnome2 rc upcoming :)
Hi again, If you haven't gotten around to it you might consider changing the version of the ebuild to 0.2.0 from 0.1.1 as the author has just released a new version. I tried it with a renamed ebuild and it worked fine for me. Scott
commited as 0.2.0
