The commit below:
10 Mar 2011; Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org>
 	+files/wine-1.3.16-mouse-warp.patch, wine-9999.ebuild:
Updated patch from upstream bug #358233.

no longer applies cleanly to the following version bump:
26 Apr 2011; Mike Frysinger <vapier@gentoo.org> +wine-1.2.3.ebuild,
 	+wine-1.3.18.ebuild:
 	Version bump #364897 by Fab.

Confirmed using paludis/cave

I'm trying to become such a wrangler :)

well, wranglers change the assign field, not the cc ...

Why is this bug RESOLVED? I know it is discussed in upstream's bugzilla, nervertheless gentoo is still shipping a broken ebuild for 1.3.18. This caused me to file a dupe (I do not check resolved bugs when filing a new one).

I'm wondering the same thing, bug referred to in changelog says patch is in CVS, so is the faulty patch in CVS, or is the updated patch in CVS because I keyworded 9999 yesterday and neither 9999 or 1.3.18 work. Can someone please reopen this or bug #358233, until this is fixed?

Here is the Official Wine Bug:
http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6971

Can we help them out??
Comment 10 Petr Zima 2011-04-28 17:14:46 UTC
Ok, more explicitly:

Please, reopen the bug, there is another dupe Bug #365197.
Or just remove the mousewarp use flag from 1.3.18.

Yeah, I re-opened my bug #365277 (so that I can hopefully get somebody's attention) and requested that this bug be re-opened. I don't want to waste my time filing a bug if it's already been filed and I'm not going to look through hundreds of closed bug reports when checking for dupes.
