Opera 11.10 has been launched a few days ago now but still haven't hit Gentoo. Reproducible: Always
www-client/opera-11.10.2092 was added to the tree a day before the official release, with a small patch added on the release day to change the SRC_URI to use the official mirrors instead of <http://snapshot.opera.com/>. So I do not understand what you mean by "still haven't hit Gentoo". It's there - just go ahead and unmask it: echo www-client/opera >> /etc/portage/package.keywords Usually Opera fixes some vulnerabilities which enables us to rapidly stabilise the new build, but this time 11.01 appears to be considered secure by Opera, so we'll wait the usual ~30 days and that means it may not be visible to "stable" users yet.
