tove, I'd like to commit this ebuild to portage -- the only thing is the one comment in the postinst section about the 0.14 versions. Are there any expanded comments we need to make about the 0.15 versions instead?
Some comments: 1) "With version 0..." I remember that i put this in as "With version 0.11..." because the command line flags -S, -N were change (see RELEASE-NOTES-0.11). I don't know who has changed it to 0.14, but i see that you changed it to 0.15. This makes me think that my old statement was not obvious enough. So i think we can drop the three lines following "With version...." nowadays. Maybe it is good to add a 'Otherwise': ewarn "Otherwise please read specifically about the new -H option" (Because -H is only for old worldlists.) 2) You put "docinto programmer ; dodoc doc/programmer/*" into your ebuild. I think we should remove it again (only other OS stuff). If not... 2a) In my bogofilter-0.15.13.ebuild it must be moved to the end because of "docinto" and 2b) subdirectorys are lost (programmer/RISC-OS/....
thanks tove, added to portage.
IUSE="" is missing (#8) # $Header: is empty (strange)
fixed.
A fixed bogofilter version is out. Excerpt from Announcement: ------ Bogofilter-0.15.13.1 has been released to fix minor, yet annoying, portability and packaging bugs that have been reported against Bogofilter-0.15.13 in the past few days. It has no new features and does not change function in any way, except 0.15.13.1 may work on systems where 0.15.13 did not. > If bogofilter 0.15.13 compiles and works for you, you do not need to update. < Bogofilter 0.15.13.1 is available on SourceForge. The download URL is http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=62265&release_id=208191 The list of changes over 0.15.13 is quite short: 1. a bogus empty line in the src/ Makefiles was removed, to allow for compilation with non-GNU make commands. 2. a setvbuf() portability problem was fixed, not all platforms support setvbuf(f, NULL, _IOLBF, 0) - the 0 was replaced by BUFSIZ (ANSI-C). 3. The binary RPMs now have GSL statically linked, to fix problems as "relocation error: bogofilter: undefined symbol: gsl_cdf_chisq_Q" _____ Only renaming of the ebuild is necessary: bogofilter-0.15.13.1.ebuild (i tested on x86) Maybe you want to take the line docinto programmer ; dodoc doc/programmer/* out.
thanks tove
xmlto: xmlto-0.0.15.ebuild:KEYWORDS="x86 ~ppc sparc alpha ia64 hppa" xmlto-0.0.17.ebuild:KEYWORDS="~x86 ppc ~sparc ~alpha ~ia64 ~amd64" so bogofilter should not contain "~ppc64 ~mips" Thx.
could you please remove "docinto programmer ; dodoc doc/programmer/*" (see comment #11.2) or is there any reason that i don't know to install it? Then it would be great if you let me know.
I'm about to commit this keywords change and some other changes (37017) as well as 2 new versions of bogofilter.
Wait, UGH... maybe I need to just remove that and use has_version... comments seemant?
what has_version?
Never mind that... see CVS bogofilter versions, they should be fine for all arches now, pass repoman on my end at least...
