amd64 compiles with no issues, and is neat to watch for a short time :)
Comment 2 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2011-04-11 22:55:27 UTC
does not work well for me:

from man xdaliclock:

OPTIONS
xdaliclock accepts all of the standard toolkit options, and also accepts the following
       options:

-help Print a brief summary of the allowed options on the standard error output.

amd64box ~ # xdaliclock -help
amd64box ~ # xdaliclock -24
amd64box ~ # xdaliclock -12

do nothing

have i wrong to use it or is a bug?

AMD64.

I emerged this twice, the first time the cl + args were working.
After some unrelated adjustments, on re-emerging, yields;

gentoo64 ~ # xdaliclock -seconds
No protocol specified
gentoo64 ~ # xdaliclock -builtin
No protocol specified
gentoo64 ~ # xdaliclock -24
No protocol specified

Otherwise, emerges fine.

On x86 I also get no output.
man xdaliclock works

No issues for me. x86 stable. Please check your X installations if you are in chroot/virtualbox.
