Description Adam Pyschny 2011-04-09 10:18:00 UTC
I'm able to mount ftp shares without problems, but as soon I try to user secure SSL/TLS connections for ftp, curlftps segfaults immediately.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
To reproduce, just mount an ftp with ssl:
curlftpfs -o user=xxx:xxx,ftp_port=-,ftp_method=singlecwd,no_verify_peer,utf8,ssl anyftp.com/myshare/ /mnt/ftpshare

Actual Results:
Actual results are an Segmentation fault errormessage and this line in dmesg:

[ 6435.082329] curlftpfs[13847]: segfault at 0 ip 00007ffde7c08af0 sp 00007fff98e54ad8 error 4 in libcrypto.so.0.9.8[7ffde7b34000+162000]

Expected Results:
expected was to mount the share the same way like it works without ssl

equery belongs libcrypto.so.0.9.8

Maybe you ought to run:

emerge gentoolkit && revdep-rebuild --library libcrypto.so.0.9.8

Do the same for /usr/lib64/libssl.so.0.9.8:
revdep-rebuild --library libssl.so.0.9.8

When that finishes successfully, curlftpfs should have been rebuilt and linked against the 1.0.0 versions of these libraries.

If it works, you can remove /usr/lib64/libcrypto.so.0.9.8 and /usr/lib64/libssl.so.0.9.8 safely.

worked great, thank you :)
