Description Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2011-04-07 18:25:58 UTC
Only in the tree for a few days, but it is such a *tiny* patch that so I want to get it out of my radar. This revision reduces log spam, only.

*timer_entropyd-0.1-r2 (05 Apr 2011)

  05 Apr 2011; Jeremy Olexa <darkside@gentoo.org>
  +timer_entropyd-0.1-r2.ebuild, +files/timer_entropyd-0.1-syslog.patch,
  metadata.xml:
Revision bump that adds patch to create less logspam, signed off by
  maintainer

To test:
1) cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail
2) /etc/init.d/timer_entropyd start
3) cat /proc/sys/kernel/random/entropy_avail
4) Notice more entropy in the pool.
5) (Optional) Notice nothing in the logs unless compiled with USE=debug

Approval from maintainer to go ahead here.
