I have been using the system-wide installed dictionaries in Thunderbird and Firefox for a while now. Since the upgrade to firefox 4.0, the support for them is broken. In thunderbird, the dictionaries show up, in firefox 4.0 they don't.
They used to show up in firefox 3.x.

This is due to on going work to port the system hunspell patch forward. I am working on the issue as time permits, we should have it finished up in a few more days.

This is a bit off topic but is there a chance that we use enchant (which covers hunspell as well) instead of hunspell.

Here is the updated patch, just drop it into /etc/portage/patches/net-libs/xulrunner/ and re-emerge xulrunner. Please report back as soon as possible so we can resolve this.

Looks good here with xulrunner-2.0.1-r1 and firefox-4.0.1. Thank you.
