While attempting to emerge squirrelmail, the file was downloaded from:
http://belnet.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/squirrelmail/squirrelmail-1.4.2.tar.bz2

The file has an md5sum of 8c01a2533ff4325350f0f8f4de9b3160 which is not that listed in portage or on the squirrelmail website.  After a few retries, I successfully downloaded the correct file from:
http://unc.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/squirrelmail/squirrelmail-1.4.2.tar.bz2

It's md5sum is 8d8271c704a9f23d53138a4ceea38fb4 as it should be.  Not sure what we can do to correct this, but keep a look out...

just sent a mail upstream
