It's not possible to use PEAR-Image_Graph-0.7.2 with PHP 5.3 as it results in i.e. "Fatal error: Call to undefined method Image_Graph_Plotarea_Element::Image_Graph_Element() in /usr/share/php/Image/Graph/Layout.php on line 73" Probably it's possible to extract a patch from SVN: http://svn.php.net/viewvc?view=revision&revision=291165 Reproducible: Always
Sorry, but since this package has a dead upstream and is not working wth PHP 5.3 I am tempted to remove it from Portage. As this bug does not surface until now also suggests that it is not that well-used.
Typically its a good idea to check to make sure you aren't breaking other packages when you mask something. Please check reverse dependencies in the future before masking something: Reverse RDEPEND for dev-php/PEAR-Image_Graph: net-analyzer/base-1.4.0:gd net-analyzer/base-1.4.1:gd net-analyzer/base-1.4.1-r1:gd net-analyzer/centreon-1.4.2.4 net-analyzer/centreon-1.4.2.7

Could this package be dropped from portage? @web-apps: Same goes for centreon. Last change according to ChangeLog is a masked for testing and this happened in 2009. Could we remove this package as well?
I have now masked base and centreon since the deps were broken anyway.
Packages gone from the tree. Thanks for the help/input.
