Since we are in progress of removing Gnome we cant affort loosing both desktop environments.

Also sorry Larry but we aint Gentoo anymore so we are not listening to you :P

Reverting to ~arch only would work for me, that would stop KDE being the blocker for moving to non-obsolete technologies in tree.

Please also consider to remove Qt4. We have X11 GUI libraries already.

I agree, we should also remove gtk+2 and gtk+3.

In addition to the low-level X11 libraries, we also have the very-mature gtk+:1 toolkit for people who want to use a higher-level library.

KDE masked for removal, have fun
