For reference purposes we still need to put the MIPS installation guide online. As MIPS is a naughty architecture with many differing system configurations and implementations, chances are very high that this installation guide will remain online as "testbed" for future updates. I.e. the Gentoo MIPS installation guide will probably remain as primary source for updates, while the Gentoo Handbook will contain the instructions of which we know for sure that they work. This guide ([gentoo]/xml/htdocs/doc/en/gentoo-mips-install.xml) needs to be reviewed (for language issues) and internally redesigned (with the coding style). Can anyone with some spare time (darn -- now I won't find anyone :) do this? Really, you'll learn a bit from MIPS by doing so. For instance, the system maintenance menu is very interesting - the described MIPS system doesn't need a bootloader, the ROM takes care of that!
