Hi. ffmpeg and libav are now two different projects, despite one being a fork of the other. In both of their main uses (command line tools and libraries), they ground from the same base, but are evolving each in their own way, which makes them not suitable to share a virtual. So, please remove this virtual, and let upstream developers choose for each project (using those libraries/clt) against which version they wish to link to (ebuild managers of each package in the meanwhile). They are both api and abi compatible -> virtual We can rethink this later when both projects actualy don't do the same.
