There's a new patch-set for vmware to be found at: ftp://platan.vc.cvut.cz/pub/vmware/vmware-any-any-update45.tar.gz which uses the 2.6.0 build system to compile vmnet.o and vmmon.o this fixes some of the errors produced when building for 2.6.0 > 2.6.0-test7.

This patch just worked perfectly for me. It would be wonderfull if this patch could find it's way into portage.

My currently running kernel is 2.6.0-test11. I'll reboot now and hope that the 2.6.0-final-kernel will be supported too. :)
