A new version (v0.8) of the numarray package (dev-python/numarray) was released on Dec 12th, 2003. The new release includes ~30 bug fixes. I suggest a version bump in portage from 0.7 to 0.8.

I have tested v0.8 on x86 and found it to be stable.

I've added numarray 0.8 a few days ago - see bug 35382. It's currently marked ~x86.
