Hi Martin... it appears you have been updating baselayout as of late. Could you add /opt/bin to the script to create the directory, and set the PATH in 00basic. Thank you. -ryan
Hmm, I dont mind, it will rather just be a matter of is it really needed in baselayout, or is it userland ? I for instance have a /etc/env.d/99mycfg which have all the things like this for my personal setup. How many people do have a /opt/bin ?
Hmm, ok I see you guys want to use it as a general install location now. Should teach me to read -core first :P Anyhow, lets just see the general feeling about this, and then it can be added quick.
Fixed on CVS.
Martin: What package was modified to include this change?
Nothing yet, it is local to gentoo-src. Will be in with next baselayout release.
So when will the new baselayout be released? There are quite a few bugs depending on this.
When I get some time to do sanity checking on all the changes done to it, and merge a few other pending fixes/patches.
I think I'll reopen this bug until you release baselayout then, if you don't mind :)
bug has been resolved due to the 1.8.0 release of baselayout.
