Description Ian Truelsen 2003-12-17 14:27:28 UTC
After upgrading to 0.9.7 I can sign messages, but I am unable to check incoming pgp signatures.

I re emerged gnupg and gpgme (which was not brought in as a dependency) and made sure that I had crypt in my USE flags and checked /etc/mime.types

application/pgp-signature pgp

I then re emerged claws, but it still gives me this:

[application/pgp-signature (190 bytes)]

instead of checking the signature.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. receive mail with pgp signature
2.
3.

Actual Results:
did not check signature

Expected Results:
checked signature

claws 0.9.7 has a new way to check signatures: you have to select the text part of the mail to see the check result. There's already an upstream request to re-enable the old checking, see the sylpheed-claws-user mailinglist archive.
