Emerge -bk kdemultimedia (LiveCD ver 1.4) looks for bzip2 in /sys/apps/bzip2.  The correct path is /app-arch/bzip2.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge -bk kdemultimedia using the packages from ver 1.4 LiveCD

same error here .. and I tried emerge sync before emerging kde.

did you run "fixpackages"?

it seems like "fixpackages" fixed the issue .. I am emerging now ..
