I have created a mirror of portage in South Africa. Server details :

IP   : 196.25.230.147

Sorry for the delay.  If you are still interested in offering the mirror,
I've added 196.25.230.147 to the access list for rsync1.us.gentoo.org.
You should be able to sync with rsync1.us within 30 minutes.

Please update your rsync cron jobs to point to rsync1.us.gentoo.org and 
post back here when you've done so.  I'll monitor the server for a couple
days to make sure things are working fine.

Ok, all is well and updated. Do I still keep the time at every 30 mins ?

Yes, every 30 minutes is correct.  I'll post back after I've monitored
the syncs for a while.

bug added as rsync.africa.gentoo.org and rsync1.az.gentoo.org. thanks for mirroring! file a bug if there are any problems.
