Same problem here. Please add media-libs/gst-plugins-bad-0.10.21 to the overlay if this fixes the problem.
Both worked for me, ie, the workaround for .19 and a modified .21 ebuild with USE=examples (the latter builds fine both with and without the examples).

Please note that liboil>=0.3.8 is required in 0.10.19 ebuild.
