Please note commentary about this release:

> By far the most significant change in this release related to the
> management of reshaping arrays. This code has been substantially
> re-written so that it can work with 'externally managed metadata' -
> Intel's IMSM in particular. We now support level migration and
> OnLine Capacity Expansion on these arrays.

> However, while the code largely works it has not been tested

> problems could also result in regressions for reshape of native

May be new version should be hardmasked for testing.

let me know when mdadm-3.2.1 comes out, or even 3.2.2

3.2.1 was released just a day later: http://neil.brown.name/blog/mdadm

A lot of bugfixes have been included in 3.1.5 as well (which we don't have in tree yet).

s/which we don't have in tree yet/which we don't have stable yet/
Comment 5 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2011-04-08 00:17:54 UTC
probably because 3.1.5 hasnt been in the tree for 30 days yet, and no one is clamoring for said fixes as being critical

ive added 3.2.1 w/out KEYWORDS for now
