Please consider adding gpostman to the Portage tree.  It's a GTK+ based mail notification utility.

yeah adding it is one thing, maintaining another .. the thing isn't mentioned anymore on the hp even, plus its gtk1 & at this time i don't think we should support adding gtk1 trinkets anymore.
