Just realized my problem was that my GENTOO_MIRRORS had an extra /distfiles/ in the end, which is why it failed downloading from a Gentoo mirror. Still the URI in the ebuild is wrong :)

SRC_URI's get outdated all the time, what matters it's mirrored and is not a problem
