I am seeing a lot of annoying backdated mail. Bugzilla sets the date the mail was supposedly sent to the date the bug was last updated, instead of the date the mail was actually sent. In the case of bug deps getting updated, the date of the bug you are subscribed to is obviously the wrong one: From: bugzilla-daemon@gentoo.org To: jer@gentoo.org Subject: [Bug 349918] [tracker] packages that fail to build or run against app-text/poppler-0.16 Date: Thu, 03 Feb 2011 10:47:36 +0100 Reply-To: DO NOT REPLY <devnull@localhost.invalid> DO NOT REPLY TO THIS EMAIL. CC'ing upstream here as I think its an upstream bug although I'm not sure if that will be fixed/changed.
I fixed this bug yesterday for 4.0 and 4.1.1, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=652165. About deps, I still have to investigate if some work is needed or not (I fixed the problem in 4.1.1, but didn't look at 4.0 yet).
Both problems are fixed upstream and are available in Bugzilla 4.0.1.
Fixed through the upgrade to 4.0.1. Thanks!
