Description Arkadiusz Mucha 2003-12-16 08:37:07 UTC
When I try to emerge glame, I get errors about missing or incorrectly installed libxml2 and libxml.

I get the following error messages:
checking for xml2-config... /usr/bin/xml2-config
checking for libxml - version >= 2.0.0... no
[...]
checking for xml-config... no
checking for libxml - version >= 1.8.0... no
[...]

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge libxml2 (just to be sure)
2.emerge glame

Actual Results:
emerge glame failed

Expected Results:
glame should have got installed

The following use flags were active: 3dnow javascript lirc v4l Xaw3d -gnome
-spell -svga

libxml2 version 2.5.11 is installed
libxml is not installed

well... lots and lots of things have been fixed... libxml and libxml2 detection... alsa detection and optional alsa support... added support for fftw (version 2.x currently)... and ladspa support.

please test the glame-1.0.2.ebuild which has these fixes.

It installed fine but... I thought it was a GUI program, and all I get is cglame.
