Description Gene 2011-03-19 05:08:39 UTC
I'm running Xorg-Server with KDE, and I run into an issue where if I try to click on the home, root, or trash icons, my system starts to open endless directory windows until the pc crashes. I'm running with kernel 2.6.36-r5, amd64 processor. With my kde install, I emerged kdebase-startkde, kmenuedit, kate, kcontrol, knetattach, konqueror, and konsole. Is there something else I need to do or redo? Any ideas at all would be great. Thanks

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. startx with kde
2. go to my computer section and click on any directory window (home/root)
3. stare at it until pc crashes lol.
Actual Results:
PC opens hundreds of directory windows.

Expected Results:
The software should just open one window.

I'm not sure what information I need to provide, please let me know and I will be sure to do so.

I was able to fix the problem by reinstalling konqueror (turns out it was konqueror that kept opening windows) and by emerging dolphin 4.4.
