This should be fine for a stabilization round. Targets: alpha amd64 hppa ia64 ppc sparc x86

On x86 I also hit bug 359411 USE='-crypt -fam fax -ipv6 -ldap mailwrapper mysql -nls norewrite pam -postgres spell web webmail' emerge =mail-mta/courier-0.65.2-r1 * package net-mail/mailwrapper-0.2.1 NOT merged * * Detected file collision(s): * * /usr/sbin/sendmail * * Searching all installed packages for file collisions... * * Press Ctrl-C to Stop * * mail-mta/courier-0.65.2-r1 * /usr/sbin/sendmail *
no regressions, amd64 stable, thanks Agostino for testing
ppc done
I've now fixed all the warnings mentioned in comment #2. Though none of them is a regression to the current stable and none of them should cause any real trouble, so I haven't bumped the revision. The file collission happens with mailwrapper, which is deprecated. emerge --depclean your systems and you should be fine. Please go ahead with stabilizing.
I get the following now under x86: * Detected file collision(s): * * /usr/share/man/man1/dot-forward.1.bz2 * /usr/bin/addcr * * Searching all installed packages for file collisions... * * Press Ctrl-C to Stop * * sys-apps/ucspi-tcp-0.88-r17 * /usr/bin/addcr * * net-mail/dot-forward-0.71-r3 * /usr/share/man/man1/dot-forward.1.bz2 * * Package 'mail-mta/courier-0.65.2-r1' NOT merged due to file * collisions. If necessary, refer to your elog messages for the whole * content of the above message.
The ucspi-tcp collision is known, see #350394 but it's no regression, so this shouldn't stop stabilizing. dot-forward: Reading the description, this seems to be part of qmail - installing courier and qmail on one system is likely to cause troble, maybe we should add blockers. Anyway, also no regression.
(In reply to comment #9) Yes, please add blockers, as it saves some compile cycles on known problems for at least us archtesters! ;-) I did a --depclean after emerge -C netqmail... but dot-forward stayed! :-/
x86 stable. Thanks Andreas.
alpha/ia64/sparc stable
Stable for HPPA and closing.
