I've written an ebuild for pyid3lib, which is python bindings for id3lib. I like it better than the one id3 python module currently in portage. It's a simple install, but this is my first ebuild, so I've probably got something wrong. As to keywords, I can only test it on x86, but it's python, so I listed all architectures listed in the id3lib ebuild.

This is needed by jack 3.0 as well (cd ripping). I've attached my version of the ebuild. Not sure how to set the sourceforge mirror though, so just used the NC mirror.

pyid3lib is LGPL, not GPL.
