Hi,

I've received information from Kumba to add MIPS to the Gentoo Handbook. I'll attach all patches involved in this process. I've received all information from the MIPS installation guide (http://dev.gentoo.org/~kumba/mips/docs/gentoo-mips-install.html) which wasn't written with the handbook in mind (sadly enough).

If a docdev can review for typos and such? I'd like to implement this in the handbook asap (now that my changes will still apply cleanly :)

I'm not familiar with the MIPS platform, so the packages, commands are uncertain. the rest looks good

That's normal; I don't know about them too but got the info from Kumba. And if they are wrong, they don't infect the other distributions.
