net-proxy/squid init.d stopping too related from squid health and long waiting even if squid is dead (or -s KILL, some situations at least). But usually there are subject to fast restart. Next attached suggested simple fix for this behaviour (yes, you may suggest your additional error messages...)

PS Oh yes, I forget workaround BSD behaviour... Sorry. But let it be just example.
