Hi, rsync8.de moved to a new server. The new IP is 80.190.246.242. It needs access to rsync1. At the moment it syncs from rsync://rsync.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage . It comlies to our policy and will be administered by ian@gentoo.org and stkn@gentoo.org. Please tell me when access is granted and when the round-robbin entry of rsync8.de will be changed to the new ip. The old server will go out of service then. Removed the old IP from rotation and added access for 80.190.246.242. Let me know when you've switched and I'll remove the old IP and at it back. Thanks.
Great! I edited the conf to make it sync from rsync1 and tested if everything is fine --> syncs like a charm. So it would be great if you could add the server with the new IP as rsync8.de back to the rotation. Thanks in advance.
New IP set as rsync8.de, also added it do the .de and .europe rotations. Thanks.
rsync8.de is moving again. I set up a new node which will host rsync8.de in the future. At the moment both nodes are running rsync. If you have switched it over to the new IP I'll shutdown rsync-services on the old rsync8.de box. New server IP: 81.169.171.187 Thanks in advance!
