please test if it works and add ~mips to gtk+2
Just as an update to this bug... All gkrellm ebuilds on mips architectures are masked - "mips" or "~mips" is missing from all KEYWORDS in all gkrellm ebuilds. As for gtk+ - I see "mips" in gtk+-2.2.4-r1 and "~mips" in gtk+-2.4.0-r1 and gtk+-2.4.1.
Hmm....gtk+-2.2.4 is stable and has been on mips for over a month now, probably closer to two. Also, the gtk+-2.4 ebuilds do have ~mips keywords (I know, because I keyworded all of them). Sounds like something is funny with your portage tree...unless someone decided to un-keyword the ebuilds *very* recently.
Ahh, my bad...I didn't read the dates on the posts before I commented! Yes, gkrellm is masked on mips. Mainly because I simply never got around to testing it. What versions have you tried? I'll give them an emerge...see if they work, and then give them some ~mips keyword action.
We've had a stable gtk+2 for awhile now. And gkrellm-2.2.4 is now keyworded ~mips.
