Hum, I was accusing 3.1.9 but compiling back to 3.1.5 did not give better :-/ Can not find a possible responsible package in emerge.log (update to kde 4.6.1 was this WE)
Disable your ccache and try again, if you can still produce with ccache and distcc disabled please feel free to reopen the bug report.
