6 months ago, the latest stable version of 1.x branch was released.

as mailed today with Jonathan Wage, main developer of doctrine, the 1.2.4 release is not yet scheduled. he is working on some more bugfixes, because 1.2.4 will be the last release for 1.x branch. so this can take some more time.

Thanks for the ebuild, Denny. Note that normally, it is better to attach a patch of the ebuild against a previous version rather than attach the whole ebuild. Makes it easier to spot any changes done to it. If it is just a simple copy, just state that this is all you did :)

Anyways, I had to do some additional cleanup since it seems like the ebuild was in pretty bad shape (before your changes) :)
