Since 2.56, dnsmasq checks its command line arguments and refuses to run if something invalid is given. This is the case with NetworkManager, causing the inability to use the connection sharing feature.

Thank you for reporting that problem and patch. I backported patch from NM upstream (which is very similar).

Fixed version added to the tree.
