Hi , i think there could be an update for portage system.
(on my system: sys-apps/portage-2.2.0_alpha26)

When user tries: emerge =chromium-8.0.552.224 , currently , it will popup two package , which is not necessary , cos only www-client/chromium has that version number (8.0.552.224).

In that case , portage should try to match version number firstly , what do you think ?
