I noticed that compiling lxterminal from lxde overlay,
but from-tree ebuild is affected too.

Just:
-x11-libs/vte
+x11-libs/vte:0

Because if somebody is using gnome overlay he (or she)
can have installed vte for gnome-3 (slot=2.90).

And lxterminal won't not compile on it.

From my system:
x11-libs/vte-0.27.90 [:2.90]
x11-libs/vte-0.27.90-r200 [:0]

Yes but gnome overlay packages are not part of the official tree. Anyway, this change seems innocent so I did it anyway ;)

The lxde overlay is not supported by us so I don't really know what is going on there

I found only one mail address in whole overlay:

I see it in CC.

And I only wanted to let you know, that x11-libs/vte dependency
is not enough (while :0 is), because it does not work with gnome-3 vte.
This "innocent" :0 is not worth all our writing... ;-)
But it is important.
