I recently reinstalled Gentoo on my computer, which is a PC (x86) running a Pentium 3 processor. I used a recent Gentoo Install CD, installing from stage 1 and using a 2.4 kernel. As I installed it, I was working in a window with a picture in the background and the Gentoo logo in the bottom right. Beneath the logo were these words: gentoo technologies incorporated. That dot bothered me. It would make sense if you used the abbreviation "Inc."; otherwise, the dot should be removed. I suggest changing the words to either "gentoo technologies incorporated" or "Gentoo Technologies, Inc." beneath the logo.
It's fixed
Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux". I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers, this is the only reasonable way to do this.
