Description FieldySnuts 2003-12-13 10:13:24 UTC
media-video/cinelerra-1.1.7 emerges fine for me.

However when I go to start it, a small window appears in xfree. It has nothing in it, and is difficult to describe in words. The rest of cinelerra does not start. Oddly, I have gotten the rest of cinelerra to start once or twice, by resizing this box.

Please see the attached image. Look closely and you'll see the titlebar (fluxbox), and it's borders. For some reason it shows what is directly underneath it (gkrellm in this case). If i move it or resize it, there are all sorts of difficult to describe effects.

The borders of the window are almost competely invisible, but they are there.

if you use a different windowmanager does it work fine ?
Comment 3 FieldySnuts 2003-12-13 10:31:00 UTC
Yes, it does work fine.

Where it does not work is fluxbox-0.9.6_pre9 .

It did work for me in gnome-2.4 .

Well, that's curious.

Guess we can dump this bug, then. Clearly not with cinelerra.

try this with the final release of fluxbox 0.9.6 please?
Comment 5 Markus Nigbur (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2003-12-25 17:05:47 UTC
can't reproduce it with any fluxbox version.
