further investigation, yes, you should still fix your GENTOO_MIRRORS value. however, SRC_URI is also incorrect for the ebuilds: -mirror://kernel/linux/libs/klibc/${P}.tar.bz2 +mirror://kernel/linux/libs/klibc/1.5/${P}.tar.bz2
I think this 2 year old bug is not valid anymore.
