Description Oliver Jaksch 2011-03-04 08:11:17 UTC
The Asterisk Development Team released a new version of dahdi

2.4.1 is a maintenance release of the DAHDI drivers and tools packages. Some of the more notable changes are:

Support for compilation against kernel versions from 2.6.9 up to and including 2.6.38-rc6.
wct4xxp: PCI-express cards go through an extended reset at start by default.
wcte12xp, wctdm24xxp: Disable read-line multiple PCI command, which increases compatibility in some systems.
xpp: Fixes init error for PRI devices with < 4 ports.
tonezone: Add Macao, China to tone zone data.
dahdi_genconf: Don't generate configurations that use channel 16 on E1 CAS.

I just renamed net-misc/dahdi-2.4.0-r1 to net-misc/dahdi-2.4.1 and gave it a try.
Compiles fine and without any complain on my x86 and amd64 boxes.

+*dahdi-2.4.1 (17 Apr 2011)
+ 17 Apr 2011; Tony Vroon <chainsaw@gentoo.org> +dahdi-2.4.1.ebuild:
+ Version bump, as requested by Oliver Jaksch in bug #357309.

Many thanks Oliver, and apologies for the delay. I realise more reports are open for enhancements, and those will be in a 2.4.1-r1 ebuild down the line.

No need to apologie :)
Meanwhile Digium released dahdi and dahdi-tools in version 2.4.1.2 but I think there is no need for a new bug request as this release seems to fix compiling issues on RHEL only.
